Glaciar Perito Moreno
It is the most famous and impressive glacier, located in the far south, facing the Magallanes Peninsula, 78 kilometres away from El Calafate. Apart from being the most visited glacier – as it is the only one to be seen from the mainland – its main attraction are its frequent breakings, sometimes small pieces of ice, at other times massive ice walls.
El Chaltén
This is a small village situated within Los Glaciares National Park, surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty, only 220 kilometres away from the city of El Calafate. It is located at the base of the mythical mount Fitz Roy and is also called the Capital of Trekking.
Cuevas de las Manos
It is situated in the area of Alto Río Pinturas, in the northwest of Santa Cruz Province. It is 580 kilometres away from El Calafate and it is located in Río Pinturas Ravine Río Deseado basin between the towns Perito Moreno and Bajo Caracoles. You may reach it by driving along National Route N° 40.
